How do I get in New Romney?

2. How long does it take to get from London to New Romney by public transport or car?
By train and bus you it will take about 2 hours. By car it's only 1.5 hours from London.
3. Is there anything do to in the evening in New Romney?
There is always something to do in New Romney. You can either
visit one of the traditional local pubs or enjoy British and
Tandoori cuisine.
If you are more into clubbing, it is possible to dance the night away in Ashford

4. If I don't have a car in New Romney, what can I do during
my holidays?
There are a lot of activities close to
Littlestone hotel. If you want to see the countryside you can take the mini train. On the beach you can surf, kiting, water skiing,
sailing, fishing, walking or just go to enjoy the view. It is located only 10 minutes from the New Romney high street. Furthermore, you can rent a bicycle or take the bus to a lot of nice places around there.
5. I never heard of New Romney, what are the nearest
cities around there?
The nearest cities are Folkestone and Ashford.
In Ashford you will find the international railway station
with the Euro Tunnel and there are a lot of shopping facilities
including one of the famous English designer outlet
centres.
Folkestone is a nice typical port. It is not far away from New Romney and it is
easy to visit this famous city of Dover by bus.
6. Is it possible to get from France to New Romney easily?
Yes, it is really easy! Because New Romney is not far from the Eurostar
Station Ashford International. You can take the Eurostar
from Paris or Lille and after you can take the bus from Ashford to
New Romney.
7. I am very interested in history, what can I see around New Romney?
There are a lot of old churches and historical pubs in the
area (New Romney, Hythe, Lydd, Dymchurch). You can also visit
the Royal Military canal in Hythe (this was a dug during the
Napoleonic era (1804-1815) as a defensive measure against a
possible French invasion). You can visit the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway headquarters as well.
8. How much does a pint cost in a local pub?

any possibilities to rent a surfboard?
